The battle horns have been blown and the Union Jacks are out in force as the
pro Sevco media ramp up ‘ra Rainjurs’ chances of winning the title after their world class victory over Scotland’s most successful club last weekend.
Let them have their moment in the sun. They don’t have too many of them. One trophy in ten years and even after putting us out the Scottish Cup last weekend, nothing has really changed since then.
They still only have 1 trophy.
But that didn’t stop Barry Ferguson’s bloated Ibrox love in as his latest article on Conor Goldson was a vomit inducing masterpiece.
Barry wrote these classic lines, “There is no place like Ibrox. There is no other club that comes close to Rangers.”
He is correct though. There is no place like Ibrox:
But then it was this beauty that really made me laugh, “But over the last four years the guy has been a colossus and I’m sure the vast majority of Rangers fans would agree. The guy’s stats alone make him invaluable to the club. He’s been a mainstay – a rock – and the club would struggle to find anyone capable of filling his size elevens.“
Colossus? He’s watched Celtic pick up trophy after trophy. A rock? Not for me. He has been at the heart of that defence that surrendered a seven point lead in two months this season alone.
Ferguson is way off the mark and these Celtic fans rinsed it:
