Barry Ferguson reveals what Joe Hart told him about the Celtic fans after Scottish Cup tie

The Scottish Cup tie against Alloa (and the fallout) is one that will still be spoked about for a long time yet. Mainly because the injuries picked up by Celtic could have a damaging effect on how the rest of the season pans out.

But it wasn’t what happened on the pitch that caught my attention. It was Barry Ferguson revealing a chat he had with Celtic keeper Joe Hart after the match on The Go Radio Football Show.

Ferguson was team mates with Hart at Birmingham City and he revealed how much he is loving life at Celtic, “It was great to see him. I spent a year with him at Birmingham.

I had a good chin wag with him for five minutes and I wish them all the best for the rest of the season and I forgot it was obviously Celtic and we had a chuckle about that.

But he’s loving life up here. He says since he’s come up here he’s been in awe. He has loved every single minute of it.

He says the Celtic fans have taken to him big time. And no wonder because he is a top class operator.

And he’s loving life up here. He’s been impressed with a lot of the teams. He’s been impressed with a lot of the players.”

And it is easy to see from his performances and demeanour on the pitch just how much he loves the fans and being at Celtic.

Let’s just hope he is loving it more when he picks up the SPFL trophy at the end of the season……..
