This was a strange one for me.
The Manager of the Month Award is usually one that gets given to the manager who’s team has performed better in domestic competitions right? And December’s award has left many Celtic fans ripping it out of wee Gio.
Now in the league, there is no doubt the wee man has done well. Very well. But so has Ange.
Both are unbeaten. Granted the Ibrox club have picked up two more points than Celtic but the Hoops picked up a cup. And, yes, I know it’s a Premiership award, but it’s still worth pointing that out.
And the Celtic fans brilliantly trolled the Gers gaffer and carpet bombed Sky’s post about the award with photo’s of the cup win just before Christmas.
It reminds me of when Gerrard won the manager of the year even although he picked up one less trophy than the St Johnstone manager. Bonkers.
Anyway, as the dust clearly has not settled on this, the Hoops fans let Sky Sports know just how they felt about it:
