“I have no doubt whatsoever” – Postecoglou’s former right hand man’s mask slips as he makes stunning title confession

That’s it. Not even New Year and it’s time to pack up the league title, wrap it in blue and white ribbons, and give it to the Ibrox club.

Forget the transfer window. Forget about the players coming back from injury. Forget about Rangers potentially losing one or two key men this transfer window.

None of it matters. The league is already over.

That’s according to Craig Moore.

The former Rangers defender, who used to work closely with Ange Postecoglou, has made his declaration on The Go Radio Football Show with half the season and three Glasgow Derbies still left to play.

Speaking about the new club, Moore said, “For me there just been a look of a more balanced side.

In saying that, I think also seen the worst performance under Giovanni against Dundee United but I don’t want to take anything away from Dundee United who again had four or five young lads and played enormously well. Really structured, really well organised.

But it was probably the poorest I’d seen Rangers.

Gio has hit the ground running, which you have to do if you’re manager at Rangers Football Club. He needs to win football matches.

You need to win week in week out.

You need to win trophies.

He’s put himself, the team, in a wonderful position and I have no doubt, no doubt whatsoever, that they’ll go on and win the league this year.

Quite the statement from a man who knows Ange well and knows that the Celtic boss will not give up the title until it is impossible to win it.

This is disappointing from Moore who, despite his background, generally comes across as quite balanced on the show.

The mask slips eventually……..
